Characteristics of the course of study
Conceiving and creating educational paths, but also conducting guided tours, drawing up technical data sheets, using IT tools for the creation of multimedia content.
The three-year course in Didactics of art (Art education) for museums wants to provide students with both the fundamental historical and cultural skills to fully understand the nature, dynamics and perspectives within which to develop new projects, and those necessary to operate concretely in the museum environment. The student will therefore be trained on the one hand to concretely design exhibition itineraries and exhibitions, knowing how to communicate also through multimedia tools and social communication, which is fundamental for the dissemination of knowledge of these initiatives. Through the learning of specific communication techniques, together with the specific exercise linked to the use of appropriate languages, at the end of the course, the student will be able to personally conduct guided tours and to create educational courses aimed at different types of users and at different age groups. For this reason the course has a strong pedagogical imprint in depth from a theoretical and practical point of view.

Course Goals
Objective of the Museum Didactics Course is, first of all, to ensure skills and knowledge destined to produce and manage communication tools aimed at the fruition and enhancement of the historical-artistic and cultural heritage, in its artistic, monumental and museum dimensions. During the three years of studies, the student develops organizational and technical-operational skills (also thanks to the approach to software such as Adobe Photoshop and Indesign) aimed at preparing teaching tools such as captions, panels, room sheets, cards, didactic laboratories, videos and other multimedia products (ebooks) that allow an adequate and sometimes innovative use by the public (in particular, albeit not only, children and school age) of artistic assets considered in their material as well as symbolic dimension.
